Sephora Rouge/VIB Sale + ABH Prism IG Giveaway
Friday, November 3, 2017
It's almost time for Sephora's sale. Have you given any thought to what you might want to pick up, for yourself or as holiday gifts for others? I made a list of things that I really liked and would recommend to pick up on sale, as well as a few things I still might pick up. Feel free to talk me into or out of any of these products!
Tom Ford Cheek Brush 06
Listen, I adore this brush. I want to use it constantly, I reach for it every morning. I become a little sad midweek when the brush has become dirty and I have to pick some other brush to apply blush. The price is quite high, so if there ever was a time to pick it up, it'd be on sale. Reviewed here.
Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes
20% off these palettes means they are a hair over twenty bucks. I think that makes these a steal for some pretty pigmented colors.

Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Obsession
I'm smitten by how the lipstick bullet itself looks, those curves man. My spouse is encouraging me to get Obsessed (he's pretty biased, the guy really loves red on me). If you insist!

BITE Beauty Agave Kisses Set
This is already in my basket. I wear the Agave Lip Mask a lot (reviewed here), even if it isn't the most moisturizing lip product I own. It still feels and tastes nice, I want to try the scrub. It's a pretty good value! Speaking of value, check out the Bite mini tin sets, they have a great variety this year:
Viseart Palettes
I've reviewed two of the four palettes I have (Neutral here and Warm here), and the matte formula is hands down my favorite formula. I use these palettes with almost every single look. Out of the 48 individual shades I have, only 1.5 of them do not meet my expectations, are not on par with the rest. Really great quality eyeshadows that are a joy to blend. Similar to the TF Cheek Brush, the palettes are pretty high priced so if you're on the fence this sale is a good time to pull the trigger. I have my eye on one more (Editorial Brights).
Fenty Killawatt Trophy Wife Highlighter
I haven't explored anything from Fenty Beauty since it launched. This highlighter. It's so yellow, so gold. I want it like a Ferengi wants latinum.
Scratch that. I have since seen the Guerlain holiday bronzer. Which is really a gold highlight, why they are calling it a bronzer is beyond me. I've been dying for a new gold highlighter since the little itty bitty strip in my NARS Foreplay palette hardened over. I saw a swatch of Trophy Wife on someone with pore size similar to mine, and you know what? It wasn't great.
I'm trying to resist, let's see how successful I am! I'm pretty sure I don't need any of these things, but I could be persuaded either way.
One more thing I wanted to mention, I'm holding a giveaway on Instagram. Check out the post with details here. The prize is one Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette, which is limited edition for the holidays. I played with the testers in store and the formula is much better than Subculture, no powdery fallout here!
