50 Words or Less: More Repurchases

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

It's been a while since I wrote an installment of this series, let's take a look at some products that I enjoyed enough to repurchase!

 PureHeal's Propolis 90 Ampoule, $15 from SweetCorea

This is my current alternative to silicone primer. Love how it makes my pores less noticeable and keeps my skin from dehydrating under makeup. Little goes a long way, I have a backup but even with daily use it takes ~10 months to finish.

Cosrx Ulitmate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask, $17 at YesStyle.

I don't use this as a sleeping pack on my face but as a lighter occlusive layer during the day. I also apply liberally all over my décolletage. Technically not a repurchase, the artist formerly known as HookedOnPolish gave me her tube. Full review here.

Toppik Hair Building Fibers, $7-47 at Ulta

Another product I've reviewed before (here). Now that my hair is growing back (kinda), I use this more in place of dry shampoo. I can go through a can of dry shampoo in 2 weeks (wish this was an exaggeration) but one full bottle of Toppik lasts me year(s).

Nexcare Acne Care Stickers, eBay

No joke I've been loyal to these hydrocolloid patches for well over a decade. I've considered the Cosrx ones (and Emi recently sent some [Apieu] Nonco ones my way) but end up repurchasing these every time. I've gone through maybe 20 boxes of them. Best for zits with visible "heads".

Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule, $29 on Amazon

SCIENCE, ACTIVATE! I started using this purple ampoule with an absurdly long name a year ago. What started out as a PR sample quickly became a staple in my routine. Reviewed here. I'm on my third bottle! I prefer the "budget" 40ml with pump rather than the 50ml dropper.

Opera Volume Control Mascara

This is my favorite mascara, I've actually used maybe eight tubes. I don't bring it up very much because it's very hard to find, I buy it imported from Japan when I'm in Shanghai. It's a tubing mascara and even dialed (literal dial) down to the lowest setting, too much comes out. Even still, it's the greatest lash lengthening I have ever had.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your recent repurchases? I get swept up in NEW!!! products a lot, but it's good to come back to old favorites that are good enough to rebuy.
