[PONY EFFECT] StayFit Matte Lip Colours #OnFleek & #Magnificent

A few weeks ago, Memebox had a set of two Pony Effect StayFit Matte Lip Colours plus a brush for $25 total, which I thought was a total steal. Each of the colors regularly retail for $18.50 and the two shades happened to be the two that I wanted. Would you look at that. Into my cart this set went.

On top of that sale price, I was also enjoying 20% off my first order of $25+. Here's a referral link for the same deal, if you haven't purchased from Memebox US before. Since many of the kbeauty websites I shop with have dreadfully expensive shipping that scales with weight, I took this opportunity to order some heavy things once I hit the free shipping threshold ($35). I ended up purchasing (relatively) heavy hair treatments, face pack, along with facial toner. The order took two days to process and then another few days to ship. Within a week, I had my order.

Matte liquid lipsticks have been my absolute favorite kind of lipstick to wear the last few years, and I was really drawn to the [PONY EFFECT] look - shiny bright copper everything.

I pulled out a few similar shades for comparison.

#OnFleek (what does this mean? I feel downright embarrassed that I have to ask, but I have no idea and this has gone on long enough) is a brown sugar color with peachy undertones. #Magnificent is described as 'terracotta' but I think looks strawberry against my skin.

I think #OnFleek is too orange and too brown for me, but would look amazing on my sister who is NC40ish. It improves as it fades, leaning more nude-peach.

Kind of adore #Magnificent though, it brightens my whole look quite a bit.

I find the these StayFit Matte Lip Colours to be the most comfortable out of all the matte formulas I have tried. My favorite thing about this lipstick is that as it fades, it just looks like a gradually softening matte lip. The trade off is that it did not last as long as any of the other formulas - Kat Von D Everlasting, Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte, L.A.Girl Flat Matte Pigment, Australis VelourLips. However, I love the wear so much that I don't mind the short lifespan (like 3-4 hours).

There's quite a range of colors and I think they look quite saturated. From the [PONY EFFECT] site:

I really wish I had something like that vibrant warm red on my wedding day. I was just reminiscing about how I transferred NARS Heat Wave all over my new husband. These StayFit Matte Lip Colours are definitely smooch proof when set.

I feel like my matte lip color wardrobe is rather well rounded at this point, but I'll keep an eye out for future sales. That plummy #SoGood in the middle of the bottom row might yet make its way into my collection.

The brush #105 is magnetic, but I don't have any designs to buy the magnetic frame or plate. Cool concept though, if very borrowed from Rae Morris. It's not a bad brush but a bit bigger than I typically like for my lips. Capable of very crisp edges though. It will probably be re-purposed into a concealer brush, as I have been favoring the blurred, smudgy lip as of late, which requires no lip brush.

Have you tried anything from the [PONY EFFECT] line? As of now, Memebox US or Ebay seems to be the best place to find the brand, but it looks like Forever 21 also carries some products online.
