Good afternoon!

Yesterday afternoon, I was fooling around some of my new Femme Fatale Cosmetics shades when I created a look that I really liked. Even though I only used two eyeshadow shades, I felt like they worked very well together to show off a whole range of hues in the pinky-mauve-purple family.

Good morning, folks!

I woke up this morning at the usual six o'clock and started my daily weekday routine (tea, cat petting, yoga, more cat petting) before I realized that it was Saturday. Naturally, going back to sleep is impossible, so I thought I'd blog.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks were recently reformulated, so I hear, which is why a lot of people found KVD products at their local Marshalls. I wanted the shade Lolita, which had been out of stock at Sephora for quite a while now. I had stopped in store one time and swatched it one time, and had liked the sort of mauvey rose color. Or so I thought.

So remember when I said I'd try to schedule posts while I was away? I lied. It didn't happen. I had a really great time in Puerto Rico though, so maybe pictures next Monday once I sort through them (between my cell, DSLR and underwater camera, I have two thousand something pictures, it's ridiculous). When I got back, it was all cloudy and "cold" (and I use the term very loosely in Californian terms) so instead of blogging or doing anything productive, I hunkered down to marathon Downton Abby. Post vacation blues, man.

Hello!

I hope that your new year is going great so far. So I wanted a little sumpin' sumpin' new to bring on vacation next week; a product both long-wearing and multipurpose to help me pack light. I thought of my summertime favorite color product - BECCA Beach Tints - and how I always promising myself to buy more shades at a later date. I ended up picking up BECCA Beach Tint in Papaya.
