Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette

I love the little seasonal bag full of GWP products that Sephora offers every year around this time. To be honest, I didn't try any of the products from last year's bag until a few months ago, so I figured that this time around I'd get the ball rolling early. The set included a deluxe mini Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette and I'm quite taken with it.
The liquid lipstick comes in a simple tube with your run-of-the-mill doefoot applicator. In general, I don't care for the styling of the Kat Von D line. Roses just aren't my thing and the packaging seems pretty cheap. It is however, functional and reasonably sturdy, ugly as it is. The applicator is ideal for applying this Everlasting Liquid Lipstick as it gives you great control over the cream formula and you can establish really crisp lip lines.
I also really liked that it had no scent and that it didn't bleed at all. This is probably the most precise lip product that I've ever had the pleasure of wearing, it didn't budge once I applied it. I wore it all day and didn't have to touch it up at all. The other product that I've heard this KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick compared to is the line of Lime Crime Velvetines, but as I haven't tried any of them, I can't definitely say how alike they are.
With a matte longwearing formula, I had expected drying but that's not the case. When I first tried a bright orange shade (A-Go-Go) in store, I made the mistake of not prepping my lips before hand and yes, that looked pretty spectacularly horrible. However when I exfoliated and allowed a dab of lip balm to moisture my lips for about ten minutes before applying the liquid lipstick, this resulted in no dryness or lip flaking whatsoever. The slightly sticky nature of this formula allows it to be very flexible and comfortable on the lips.
I'm also wearing:
Face: Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation mixed with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Graftobian Hi Def Glamour Creme (as concealer), NARS Douceur
Eyes: Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer, Inglot #77 Gel Eyeliner, Lancome Definicils Mascara
Lips: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette
I think that $19 is a pretty good price point for this product, as I'm very taken with how well it wears. I'd be absolutely delighted if Sephora offered a set of deluxe sizes or something, as I would love to try more shades.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick is available here, from Sephora.

The color of Bachelorette is a blue based red. The pigmentation is fantastic and I reached this opacity with a single layer. It dried very matte but slightly tacky when it set after a few minutes. If you blot your lips with tissue, a bit will transfer but I had no problems with it transferring onto drinking glasses nor did it travel during kissing. Yep, it's kiss proof! It is quite water resistant but dissolves with oil.
