Today I have a sneak preview of the
October edition of Glossybox.
A full sized Tarte LipSurgence Power Pigment and a mini LE Vince Camuto Amore Eau de Parfum comes in every single box. You'll receive one of two shades for the Tarte Power Pigment; Flush or Awakening.
I happened to get Flush, a nice raspberry color. I haven't actually tried anything from Tarte in a while (and that's my favorite thing about Glossybox, trying new things that I might have otherwise not picked for myself). The name of the product was a bit misleading for me, I totally thought that Power Pigment would be, well, a pigment. As it turns out, it's a lovely highly pigmented lip product that is somewhere in between a balm and a gloss in texture and wear.
Tarte LipSurgence Power Pigment in Flush. The color is not shimmery but has a slight glossy sheen. It's slightly minty upon application and comes in a retracting twist up jumbo "pencil".
I liked that even though it was really pigmented, it didn't leave a deep stain. Just a bit of soft pink color left over after hours of wear.
The mini LE Vince Camuto fragrance comes in this beautiful little bottle, I love the silver filigree top! You'll love this EdP if you like florals. If Guerlain Allegoria Flora Nymphea and Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea had an offspring, this would be it.
