FOTD with Impulse Cosmetics Run Away Lipstick

Good morning!

This was my FOTD yesterday, but I ended up being so tired that I fell asleep at 6PM and didn't get around to posting it.

I decided to go with a bright lipstick with that sort of gradient outline so I pulled out Impulse Cosmetics Run Away Lipstick. If you recall, I swatched it here.

I used Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Erratic to outline. I grabbed it thinking it was pure black but as it turns out, there's a grey/green cast to it.

I have to admit that this lip look didn't turn out as beautiful as I had hoped. I spent more time blending it with an OCC lip brush than I did applying makeup to the rest of my face and it still looks a bit... rough.

No idea how all these great IG artists get such a seamless look. I'm simply in awe of their abilities.

Lips: NYX Wonder Pencil in Light, Impulse Cosmetics Run Away Lipstick, Illamasqua Erratic Medium Pencil
