Three posts in three consecutive days? Ladies and gents, I do declare that I feel like I have my blogging mojo back!
Today I'm showcasing a limited edition trio of polishes from one of my favorite brands,
Cirque Colors. I always really enjoy Cirque's collections because they are well thought out and always cohesive. The Kontiki Collection features three shades that are loaded with color shifting shimmer and micro glitter.
Dear Dahlia. A bright vivid magenta pink loaded with small micro glitter and shimmer that shifts from predominately green but also looks gold and blue.
Midsummer Night. A deep ultramarine blue verging on indigo with micro glitter and beautiful colorshifting shimmer that looks red/gold/green.
Thicker Than Water. A teal color loaded with color shifting pigment and a touch of micro glitter that looks gold/copper/green.
I used three coats of each color. I would describe the finish as not entirely jelly nor is it wholly creme either; it skirts the boundary in between. They are just translucent enough to really show off the color shifting shimmer but without prominent nail lines. They applied nicely and leveled well too.
Usually when describing a collection, I can single out a clear favorite color. With the Cirque Kontiki Collection, this is not the case. Each vibrant color is paired so well with contrasting shimmer that I honestly can't decide which one I like the best.
