Celestial Cosmetics Anti-Matter Matte Top Coat
Saturday, March 1, 2014
Good evening! Recently I was sent a bottle of Celestial Cosmetics Anti-Matter Top Coat by Color4Nails, a great indie/international nail polish eCommerce. I thought I'd swatch it next to my other matte top coats... of which I have plenty.
Left to right: Salon Perfect Matte FX, made by the same company that makes China Glaze, butter London Matte Finish, OCC Flatline, Hard Candy Matte Top Coat, Wet'n'Wild Matte Top Coat, Nubar Matt Finish, Celestial Cosmetics Anti-Matter Matte Top Coat.
Here's a black creme polish on a nail wheel.
With top coat.
1. Salon Perfect
2. butter London Matte Finish
3. OCC Flatline
4, Hard Candy Matte Top Coat
5. Wet'n'Wild Matte Top Coat
6. Nubar Matt Finish
7. Celestial Cosmetics Anti-Matter Matte Top Coat
As you can see, the Celestial Cosmetics produces the most waxy looking finish, a bit more shiny compared to the other matte top coats but more matte than on top coat. This wax finish looks really great over pretty much anything, but my favorite is over earthy tones. The formula is good, it's neither quick drying or extremely slow drying. Somewhere in the middle.
Here we have it over an entire manicure.
What do you think of this waxy matte top coat? What's your favorite matte top coat?
Celestial Cosmetics Anti-Matter Matte Top Coat is $7.50 for a regular bottle (mine is a smaller round), purchase yours from Color4Nails.
