Laquerlicious Christmas & New Year's Collections - Swatches
Monday, December 2, 2013
Hi folks! I have my second post for you all tonight.
I'm about to overwhelm your eyes with glittery goodness, I'm showing you six shades from the Laquerlicious Christmas Collection and four more dazzling glitter concoctions from the New Year's Collection.
First up, the Christmas shades.
Crazy Christmas. This is a glitter topper loaded with all sorts of Christmas appropriate glitter! This is one coat dabbed over Sation It's All Navy Baby.
Naughty List. This looks like a white with small purple and fuchsia glitter but it is SO much more. There is so much sparkle crammed in, of every possible color. It looks like sparkling snow. It glistens. Three coats.
Lead The Way Rudolph. A red based polish with multicolored glitter in small sizes. Three coats.
Twinkling Lights. Oh, this is so complex! Predominately silver but with pink-fuchsia interference and loaded with a multitude of glitter including circles of various sizes. This is two coats by itself on the middle fingers and over white on the accents.
Mistletoe Kisses. This is a light pistachio green creme with green and red glitter and shimmer. Three coats. It screams "Christmas!", no?
A Letter From Santa. Perhaps my favorite from the Christmas shades, a glitter topper. This has red, green, white glitter but also lovely mint and pink. I wouldn't have thought that this combo could be so pretty but it perfectly captures the holiday season! I'm wearing one coat over LeChat Dare To Wear Lilypad.
And now, four festive New Year's shades. What a great way to start out 2014!
Out With The Old. This one can only be described as a holo sparkle sauce. It can definitely be worn on its own because the glitter mix is so dense. I have one coat over Zoya Mira on my pointer and pinky and dabbed over the tips of the other fingers. It is SO holo and eye catching! I love the addition of circle and star glitter.
Countdown To Midnight. A zebra topper with fuchsia and teal dots as accent colors. This is one coat over Essie Butler Please.
Bottle Of Bubbly. This instantly became one of my new favorite Laquerlicious shades. A topper with a mixture of gold, coppery and silvery hues for a bronzey look. I'm wearing it over Nature Republic Naked Nude.
Confetti Aftermath. This shade blows me away. I mean... look at it. It is a topper with black and rainbow glitter, with an emphasis on tertiary colors. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this shade. Also reminds me a bit of the '80s! I'm wearing this over a gradient of American Apparel Passport Blue and Nature Republic shades Mid Grey and Burnt Grey.
The new Laquerlicious site is now open (moved from Etsy) so be sure to check it out. The shop might be temporary closed to catch up with Black Friday orders. There are definitely some glitter shades in here that sparkle lovers should pick up for sure! For the latest updates, be sure to follow @creativenailchick on Instagram.
