California Nails
Monday, January 14, 2013
Hi folks!
I haven't really posted a lot in the past few days, I've been rather crazy busy with the kitten (long story, I promise to post about it soon!). Today I did want to show you nails that I did for a Pure Ice contest. The contest was to design nails around where you live- town, city, state.
Since I just moved to the fabulous state of California (and now am whole-heartedly convinced that I never want to live anywhere else), I just had to do nails that represent the state. I love the huge diverse population with all sorts of different and fascinating people, and all the landscapes that can be found in this single state! There's everything from the beaches on the coast, to the Sierras and the redwoods.
I love living here. I never want to leave.
I used A LOT of different polishes as you can imagine.
Zoya Blu*, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Sally Hansen Wet Cement, Wet'n'Wild Black Creme
Sally Hansen Shrimply Devine, Zoya Rehka*, China Glaze Papaya Punch, Sinful Colors Unicorn, Sally Hansen Lickety Split Lime, Zoya Wednesday, American Apparel Malibu Green,
Sally Hansen Good to Grape, Sinful Colors Endless Blue, Le Chat Dare to Ware Ocean View, Sinful Colors Grecian Sun, Sally Hansen Blue By!, Sally Hansen Why Not, Sally Hansen Gray by Gray,
Sally Hansen Last Chance, Zoya Shawn, Sinful Colors Exotic, Zoya Cho*, Zoya Pasha OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys, Sally Hansen Bittersweet
I used a makeup sponge and a single thin brush, that's it.
(I must be insane)
